About the role

Location: Barker’s Pool, Sheffield City Centre

Hours: 8.30-5pm

Salary: £25k   

Hybrid: 3 days in the office / 2 days working from home

12 month FTC with the opportunity to be permanent.

We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual, who’s eager to jump on the phones, engage with candidates, and seize opportunities. With a future in sales consulting if that’s where your passion lies, you’ll have a chance to explore different avenues.

You’ll also have the chance to dive into the various industries our team supports, gaining hands-on experience and expanding your knowledge. This role is all about building relationships, thinking on your feet, and helping candidates land their next job. While there’s plenty of room to grow and take on more responsibility, at its core, this position involves lots of interaction, communication, and candidate management.

What you'll be doing
  • Primarily supporting the Permanent candidate pool, and client communications and dealing with queries from clients and candidates
  • Administrative compliance; Carrying out pre-employment and compliance checks in line with company policy and relevant legislation
  • Supporting the recruitment of a pool of office professionals through advertising, social media, LinkedIn, and the job boards to ensure we always have the Top Talent in the area ready to place into permanent roles
  • Receiving and reviewing applications; conducting the initial screening when dealing with new candidates, followed by registering the candidate to match the roles they are looking for.
  • Responsible for giving the utmost candidate care
  • Being a champion of marketing – giving briefs to the team on what’s being covered and even creating your own marketing content to attract top candidates
  • Incredibly fast paced and diverse, it will keep you on your toes and no two days will be the same

The training

  • 121 training with the Manager and Consultants
  • Specific training plan by our fantastic Learning & Development department
  • Buddying up with other Candidate Consultants in the company
  • Quarterly training with Senior Business and Area Managers
About you

We don’t need you to have prior recruitment experience, but we are wanting someone who has drive and by that we mean someone who wants to do the work, wants to build relationships with candidates and see how incredible it is when you do it right!

  • You’ll be a strong communicator (both verbal and written) & will be happy to speak to clients and candidates on the phone, video link and face to face
  • You’ll have excellent attention to detail for important administrative/compliance tasks
  • You’ll have a people first mentality
  • You’ll be creative and like to voice your own ideas and put them into practice
  • Recruitment is target driven, so you’ll enjoy knowing exactly what your individual contribution means in terms of team targets and budgets
