The Specialist Group Procurement will be in charge of managing the Procurement activities of our Head office located in Zurich Switzerland. The person will act as a Procurement Business Partner to all corporate department and also the 3 Global Business Unit corporate department. The person will manage end-to-end sourcing activities and negotiate the best deals for each request. The person will work together with the Global Category Head to define, and launch new initiatives.
What you’ll be doing- Engage closely with the different corporate departments and our 3 Global Business Units (GBUs) corporate stakeholders to understand their needs and projects.
- Align with the Procurement Director on the finding and initiate sourcing activities
- Gather and structure requirements in the sourcing documentation.
- Develop sourcing strategies, research suppliers, and align with key stakeholders on suppliers to involve
- Launch and drive the bidding-process end-to-end in collaboration with various key stakeholders
- Analyse and compare the various supplier proposals and share output with key stakeholders
- Negotiate the best deal possible and select the most relevant vendor in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Negotiate the contract, terms and conditions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders (legal, security, privacy)
- Archive the signed contract in our S2C (Source-to-Contract via SAP Ariba) contract repository
- Report savings in the internal saving reporting tool
- Lead the monthly procurement and account payable catch-up meeting and participate to any issue to solve
- Analyse the Corporate spend by category and supplier to identify new sourcing opportunities or optimisation
- Act as the main point of contact in case of questions regarding our P2P (Procure-to-Pay via SAP Ariba) process
- At least 5 years’ experience in Procurement ideally in Indirect Procurement and Corporate environment
- Knowledge of SAP Ariba is desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement or Supply Chain Management is highly desired
- Proficiency in English language. Working knowledge of German, French, Italian or Spanish will be advantageous
