About the role

We are looking for a broadly skilled Group Consolidation & Reporting Controller to join our team at The Adecco Group. As a Group Consolidation & Reporting Controller, you will be part of the Group consolidation and accounting team that is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of the Group’s consolidated financial statements in line with US GAAP, The Adecco Group policies and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll be doing
  • Preparation and review of the monthly close/country reporting process.
  • Preparation and review of the consolidation and Intercompany processes under US GAAP.
  • Preparation of the annual and half-yearly reports.
  • Preparation of the monthly group consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements
  • Preparation of the related master data for the Group Consolidation (e.g. legal entities, global chart of accounts, etc.).
  • Liaison with Group External Auditors.
  • Collaboration with other group functions, countries and finance teams.
  • Development and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Participation in other Finance projects as needed.
About you
  • University Degree in Accounting or Finance, ACCA (or equivalent) qualification (or candidate) is an advantage
  • At least 3 years of experience with a “Big 4” company and/or in a multinational company
  • Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Understanding of External Reporting and Financial Close activities (including Consolidation)
  • Team-player with sound analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, ability to work well independently and perform well under pressure
  • The ability to multitask while focusing on special projects.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
