For one of our most trusted clients, we are currently looking for aFinancial Controller, Global IT Functionto join their Global IT Unit.



Role overview:


As a Financial Controller, Global IT Function you will lead the Unit’s financial planning, forecasting and reporting and be a business partner to the Unit Head and his/her leadership team. You will be the key resource in financial analysis including business case validation and oversee the integrity of the Unit’s business processes. Some travelling will be required from time to time. The position reports directly to the Global Head of IT Controlling or Global Finance Manager of IT Production as applicable. 


Core Responsibilities


  • Analyze detailed actual spending and its variances to budget and forecast.  
  • Monthly update of annual financial forecast. 
  • Prepare Monthly reporting and forecast package for senior management.  
  • Maintain appropriate reporting metrics on spending by category for both Opex & Capex, Run & Change, Effort & Outcome. 
  • Support business case creation with Unit stakeholders, validate business case financials and the impact on forecast and budget. Ensure proper reporting of the project within Change. 
  • Various ad-hoc analytical tasks for senior management.  
  • Facilitate and execute annual budget process for the Unit. 
  • Support and educate the Global IT Unit’s team in financial matters. 
  • Oversee proper execution of business and financial processes within the unit, in line with the Group’s control environment 
  • Support the IT and Finance transformation as applicable to the Global IT Unit. 
  • Leads GRP and HFM reporting. 
  • Review the correctness and integrity of the unit’s I/C transactions. 
  • Contribute to a high performing IT Finance organization through sharing best practises and training 



Qualifications & Experience:


  • At least 3 years of experience in data analysis/business consulting/finance reporting function
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/SUMIF/MATCH, etc.), Pivot tables
  • Analysis/Reporting skills - complex analysis; finance/business performance analysis
  • Mass Data management
  • DataViz (BI tools: Power BI / MicroStrategy, etc.)
  • Project management experience
  • Equivalent Bachelor’s/Master’s degree
  • Fluent English language
