About the role

Location: London, Bishops Square

Hybrid: 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home.

Hours: 9-5.30pm

We are seeking an energetic and ambitious Internal Communications Executive to join our small but dynamic UK & Ireland Comms team. In this role, you will help shape the Adecco Group’s communication agenda for the UK & Ireland, working closely with various functions across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Comms team in creating engaging content,
  • Managing channels and platforms, and measuring the effectiveness of our initiatives.
  • As an ‘internal journalist’, your ability to write, edit and proofread copy in English is essential – you’ll be contributing to a consistent tone of voice that engages, informs, and drives clear action.

Additionally, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting integrated comms campaigns that align with our business targets,
  • Bring a human connection to our company brand, and engage different target audiences across different platforms.
  • You’ll also work closely with the team to embed the Adecco Group’s values and culture via employee stories and business activities.

The Internal Communications Executive sits within the UK & Ireland Communications team, whose remit includes Internal and External Comms. The team is responsible for strategically boosting employee engagement, building reputation and reducing organisational risk exposure, enabling leader effectiveness, and supporting the differentiation of Adecco and the Adecco Group from competitors.

This role reports directly into the Head of Internal Communications, UK & Ireland, with dotted line responsibilities to the Country Head of Communications.

What you'll be doing

  • Working with colleagues and leaders to collect relevant content, drafting material where necessary and layout in appropriate templates
  • Drafting and editing content for internal publications and platforms, including a weekly newsletter, intranet articles and webpages, digital signage, presentations, information emails and organisational announcements
  • Supporting the Head of Internal Communications on the strategy, governance, and content management of our internal channels, including events, town halls, intranet, e-newsletters, social collaboration platform and email management platform
  • Developing and executing internal engagement plans and initiatives for diverse employee base as required
  • Supporting projects across our Global Business Units and Functions
  • Building a human connection with our brand and culture through employee stories and business activities
  • Working with the relevant stakeholders to develop and align our internal brand – delivering strong, consistent verbal and visual identity across the Group – across our internal channels and physical spaces.

About you

Are you someone who has experience drafting and delivering newsletters? We would LOVE to hear from you.

We’re also looking for someone who is generally hungry, reliable and consistent in the way they work. Someone who leads with organisation and the ability to prioritise and manage their own workload, taking ownership of building relationships and delivering at a fast pace for this leading recruitment agency.

We really need someone who has the strong capability to write and edit, as writing is a huge part of this role. Equally, we welcome someone to share ideas and be a creative individual.

Essential

  • Exceptional written and verbal skills in English, with the ability to simplify complex information and maintain a consistent tone
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with a proactive ‘can-do’ approach and high emotional intelligence
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all communications and campaigns
  • Ability to create engaging verbal and visual content that aligns with The Adecco Group’s voice and style
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure, prioritising tasks effectively and meeting tight deadlines
  • A self-starter who is enthusiastic, result-driven and committed to teamwork, believing in the power of ‘we’

Desirable

  • Relevant experience or qualifications in Communications, Journalism, PR, or similar fields
  • An aptitude for visual design and creativity, including filming and videos
  • Familiarity with content management, building engagement, and/or digital platforms
  • Experience in a multi-national or highly-matrixed organisation
